I’ve written at length about my experience visiting Neuschwanstein Castle, the royal residence tucked away in the Bavarian Alps that comes straight out of a fairy tale. We arrived after more than one hiccup and disappointment, and we decided to tour the grounds on foot with the limited time we had left in the day.
